Story Time: Join Miss Sue for Story Time every Wednesday at 10:15 as we listen to stories, make crafts, sing songs and have play time!

In June, we will meet at 10:00 for special Summer Reading Programs.  Click on the link below to learn more!

Please note: We do not meet in August, and we do not meet during the school year if North Tama Schools are closed or have a two-hour delay.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten:

This free program encourages you to read 1,000 books with your child before he or she enters school.  Each time you reach 100 titles, bring your reading log to the library.  Your child will receive a free book & a prize.  After reading 1,000 books, your child will receive a free book, a prize, a graduation cap and a diploma.

Early-Out Wednesday Programs:

We will be back on September 6, 2023 with children's programming from 2:30 - 3:30 on Early-Out Wednesdays for grades 4-12.

Early-Out Activites from ISU Extension:

Jenny Hulme will be back in February, March and April 2024 with new activities on the first Wednesday of the month from 2:45 - 3:45 in the Talen Community Room. This is a fun program for kids who have completed grades K-5.  This program is sponsored by Tama County 4-H and includes a story, activity/science experiment and a craft to go home.  There is NO FEE for this program.
